Evervoice Beta Terms & Conditions
Version: September 19, 2026 · Invitation-only US beta · Ages 18+
These terms explain the conditions for participating in the Evervoice beta, operated by EVERVOICE.AI INC., a Delaware corporation ("Evervoice," "we," "us"). When you affirmatively accept these terms, they form an agreement between you and Evervoice. Simply visiting this page does not mean you have accepted them.
Our Beta Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information, including recordings, AI processing, sharing, and deletion. Reading or acknowledging that policy is not a waiver of your privacy rights or permission to record someone else.
The essentials
- Your content remains yours. You keep the rights you hold in your memories. We need limited permission to store, process, and deliver them through Evervoice.
- Share deliberately. Connecting with someone does not share your collection. You choose the memories and recipients, including any sharing choice you make before recording an answer.
- Record with permission. You must have the rights and permissions needed to record, upload, process, and share content involving other people.
- This is a beta. Features can change or fail. We do not promise uninterrupted service, permanent storage, or a particular future product.
- Questions or concerns? Contact john@evervoice.ai.
1. Who can join
You must be at least 18 years old, reside in the United States, and receive a valid invitation to join this beta. Use accurate account information and only a sign-in account you are authorized to use. An invitation is subject to availability and the beta's access limits; it is not a guarantee of admission or continued access to every future feature.
The beta is intended for personal storytelling and sharing with people you know. It is not offered for direct use by children. Adults may upload family memories or photographs involving children when they have the necessary rights and permissions and respect the children's privacy.
These terms do not authorize a payment or subscription. Any future paid offer must explain its price and terms and require your separate agreement before we charge you.
2. Your account and invitations
Keep your sign-in credentials secure. Do not sell, transfer, or share access to your account, impersonate someone else, or use an invitation intended for another person. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
Send invitations and connection requests only for legitimate personal connections. Do not use Evervoice for spam, unwanted repeated requests, or contact-list harvesting. An invitation link may expire or be revoked before it is accepted. Where available, the sender can cancel a pending invitation. Cancelling an invitation does not delete an account that already exists.
An accepted connection does not give either person ownership of the other's content, authority over their account, or automatic access to their memories. You can manage connections and sharing through the available controls.
3. Your content and our limited permission to use it
"Content" includes recordings, written memories, photographs, profile images, comments, video replies, questions, and other material you submit. You retain the rights you already have in that content. Uploading someone else's work, voice, or image does not transfer that person's rights to you or to Evervoice.
You give Evervoice a nonexclusive, royalty-free permission to host, store, copy, transmit, format, transcribe, summarize, and otherwise process your content only as needed to provide the service and features described in these terms and the Privacy Policy. This includes showing it to recipients you authorize, providing optional AI guidance you select, and maintaining security, support, and recovery. We may allow our service providers to perform those tasks on our behalf within that scope.
This permission does not transfer ownership, grant a general publicity right, or authorize Evervoice to use your private memories in advertising. A separate use outside the stated purposes requires an appropriate separate basis and any necessary permission; it is not authorized merely by submitting a memory. AI-provider processing and its limitations are described in the Privacy Policy.
After deletion or account closure, this permission continues only to the extent necessary for lawful retention and handling of remaining copies, including restricted recovery backups and legal or security records. The deletion and backup limitations below still apply; this is not a general right to keep using deleted memories.
4. Other people's voices, images, and information
Before recording another person, make sure they understand and agree to being recorded and to the processing and sharing you intend. Obtain the permission of all participating people required for the recording. For this beta, ask participating people before you start recording even if a particular law might allow less. Do not secretly record private conversations or private settings.
Only upload content you created or are otherwise authorized to use. Possessing a photograph, video, voice memo, song, or written story does not necessarily give you permission to upload or share it. Consider copyright, privacy, and other people's rights, especially when content contains sensitive information.
Your acceptance of these terms, your relationship to someone, and your device's camera or microphone permission do not establish that person's consent. Being a relative or caregiver does not automatically authorize you to act for another adult. If you are unsure whether you have permission, do not record, upload, or share the content until that is resolved.
A person does not become an Evervoice member or accept these terms merely because they appear in a memory. Anyone with a concern about content involving them can contact john@evervoice.ai without creating an account.
5. Sharing, trusted circles, and responses
Memories are private from other members unless you authorize sharing. You can choose specific recipients or assign a memory to a trusted circle using the available features. If you explicitly choose to share an answer with its requester before recording, that choice can take effect when the answer is saved. Merely receiving a question does not authorize sharing an answer.
Review the audience when sharing or changing circle membership. Adding a person to a circle can give them access to memories assigned to it where you approve that change. Removing them from one circle may leave access through another circle or a direct share. Use the memory's current sharing information to review who has access.
People authorized to view a memory may see its associated text, photographs, attribution, and responses. Likes, text comments, and video replies can be visible to the owner and other authorized viewers. Removing a connection does not automatically erase previous comments or replies; use supported deletion controls or contact us.
Recipients may view content for the personal purpose for which it was shared. Do not repost, distribute, commercially use, or otherwise reuse someone else's content without the necessary permission. A shared memory is not a public license.
Revoking access restricts future access through Evervoice's permissions. A playback link already issued may remain usable briefly, and we cannot retrieve copies or screen recordings a recipient already made. Video download controls are disabled in the app, but that does not make copying technically impossible.
6. AI features and external links
Evervoice uses AI providers to help transcribe recordings, summarize memories, identify public places, and offer optional conversational guidance. Titles are suggested from your text. Saving a recording automatically requests transcription; the current beta has no account switch to disable that automatic feature.
The optional conversational guide sends microphone audio to an AI provider to respond to you. A selected prompt photo or recent conversation context may also be processed. Place suggestions may use selected public place names and geographic context in web searches. Evervoice is not end-to-end encrypted: the systems delivering these features must be able to process content. See the Privacy Policy for more detail about the information sent and service providers involved.
AI-generated words and links can be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate. Review names, dates, and important details before relying on or sharing them. A transcript or summary does not establish that an event happened as described. Your saved original recording remains the primary record of what was recorded, subject to the service's availability and retention limitations.
The AI guide is software, not a human interviewer or professional adviser. Evervoice is not an emergency, medical, legal, or financial service. External websites have their own content, terms, and privacy practices; a suggested link is not an endorsement.
7. Acceptable use and reporting concerns
Do not use Evervoice to violate the law or others' rights; threaten, harass, exploit, or deceive people; upload unlawful sexual content or nonconsensual intimate material; distribute malicious software; bypass access controls; obtain another person's private content without authorization; or disrupt the service. Do not test security or run automated bulk collection against other members' information without authorization.
Report suspected misuse, privacy concerns, or infringement to john@evervoice.ai. Describe the concern and provide enough information to locate the material without unnecessarily repeating sensitive content. We may request information needed to assess the report and your authority. Do not send passwords.
We may restrict content or account access when reasonably necessary to investigate a report, address a violation, protect people or the service, comply with law, or manage beta access. Where appropriate, we will explain the restriction and provide a way to contact us for review. We may act without advance notice when needed for safety, security, or legal reasons.
You may give honest feedback and reviews about Evervoice. Nothing here restricts lawful criticism, reporting concerns to authorities, or exercising rights protected by law.
8. Notifications and service messages
Enabled email alerts can notify you about shared memories and incoming questions. You can manage these preferences in Account. Account, security, and important service notices may still be sent when optional activity alerts are off.
Phone numbers and interest in future text alerts are optional. SMS delivery is not active in the current beta. Saving a phone number is not enrollment in an active text-message service. Any future SMS enrollment will have its own notice and permission step.
9. Saving, deletion, and leaving the beta
Wait for the app's saved confirmation before treating a memory as saved to your collection. A draft held in one browser is not the same as a saved cloud memory; clearing browser data or changing devices can make an unsaved draft unavailable.
You can delete memories you control and use the app's supported controls to remove other content or sharing permissions. Account deletion and a complete collection export currently require assistance: contact john@evervoice.ai. Available audio and photo downloads do not mean every file type has a self-service export; video download controls are disabled.
Deleting content removes it from ordinary app access. File cleanup can take additional time, and information may remain with processors under their applicable retention rules. Historical encrypted backups can retain deleted information. The current beta does not have a fixed automatic expiry period for those backups, so we cannot promise a date when every backup copy will be erased. The Privacy Policy explains these limitations and how to request help. Technical limits do not remove rights you have under applicable law.
You can stop using Evervoice at any time. If your account is restricted or you leave the beta, contact us about access, export, or deletion requests. We may need to verify identity and preserve information where law, others' rights, or legitimate security needs require it. We will explain applicable restrictions rather than treating account closure as a waiver of privacy rights.
10. Beta availability and preservation
Evervoice is still being tested and developed. Features, access limits, and supported devices can change. Recording, processing, playback, or other functions may be delayed, interrupted, or unavailable, and errors or loss can occur. We do not promise that every proposed feature will launch.
Preserving saved memories is a priority, and we maintain encrypted backups. This is not a promise of lifetime storage, permanent availability, or recovery of every item. Keep separate copies of irreplaceable source recordings and photographs. Evervoice stores processed photo copies rather than the original uploaded photograph files.
We may pause or end the beta. For a planned closure, we will seek to provide reasonable advance notice and an opportunity to request a copy of your content where practicable and lawful. An urgent security or legal issue may limit the notice or access we can provide.
To the extent allowed by law, the beta is provided as available, without a promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for a particular purpose. Nothing in these terms excludes a warranty, remedy, or responsibility that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
11. Changes, questions, and your legal rights
We may revise these terms as the beta develops. A revised version will show its date. We will give notice of material changes through the app or email and seek renewed agreement where required. We will not treat publication alone as your acceptance of a material new obligation or as permission for a new use of previously collected private content.
If you have a dispute or concern, please contact us so we can try to resolve it. Doing so is not a condition of contacting a regulator or exercising your legal rights. These terms do not require arbitration, waive participation in a class action, impose an exclusive court location, or set a monetary liability cap. Applicable law determines rights and responsibilities that are not addressed here.
If a provision cannot lawfully be enforced, it applies only to the extent permitted by law, and the remaining provisions continue to apply where lawful. These terms govern beta participation; the Privacy Policy explains personal-information handling. Neither grants consent on behalf of a non-member or waives mandatory consumer or privacy rights.
